IMPORTANT REQUEST: Help us Save $$ by sending in the SECOND BALLOT

In May 2011, we distributed a proposed rewrite of the Santo Tomas Community Association CC&R's and Bylaws. This is an important improvement to the original documents governing our community - as it will simplify the language of the documents and make it easier to understand and apply the regulations on behalf of you, the homeowners. 
This major rewrite of the documents requires a majority vote by homeowners to approve.
We included a ballot for you in the original mailing. HOWEVER - we subsequently found an issue with the proposed documents which we needed to correct.
We subsequently were required to send out a SECOND Ballot which REPLACED the original ballot.

We urgently require all homeowners to please send in the SECOND BALLOT with your vote.

Q&A
Q. I already sent in the first ballot. Do I need to send in the SECOND ballot too?
A. YES! The first ballot is now considered invalid. We will be counting ONLY BALLOTS received from the SECOND BALLOT MAILING.
Q. I threw out/lost my SECOND BALLOT. Can you send me a new one?
A. YES! But we are legally required to do this in three steps:
1. Please print and sign a copy of the AFFIDAVIT OF LOST/SPOILED BALLOT
2. Fax or Scan/Email a copy to one of the following:

3. You will be emailed a replacement  ballot so that you can cast your vote and mail it to Prescott - or hand deliver to a board contact. 

Q. Is there still time to send in my second ballot?
A. YES - We have extended the closing date until August 16th. All ballots must be received via mail or hand delivered to a board member before that date to be counted.
 
Please help us bring this document proposal to a decision. Your board has worked diligently over the last year to simplify these documents which ultimately will benefit you and future homeowners.
If we fall short of quorom in this vote, we will be forced to restart the process which will increase both the time and cost of this important initiative.
